FISHERMEN in northern Thailand have caught the biggest catfish on record – a 293-kg giant the size of a grizzly bear – and eaten it, the WWF and the National Geographic Society have said.
The giant catfish, believed to be the largest freshwater fish ever found, was caught along the Mekong River, home to more species of massive fish than any river on Earth.
First one that says old gets a rusty screwdriver in the left eye. :icon32: I did a search before I posted it.
A lot of people would say it's a bad idea, on your first day out of prison, to go right back to stalking the tranny hooker that knocked out five of your teeth. But that's how I roll..

Where? What kind? How big? My biggest fish wouldn't make a fin on that monster.
out next to my grandma's land there is a pool a lady owns that lives in Dallas. She has her next door neighor watch her pool to make sure nobody hunts/fishes ect there...her "watch lady" is my grandma so I always go there...
Caught about a 5 pound bass last weekend, wich was big imo...one of the biggest I've caught. Was a large mouth bass, but that cat eats the kinda fish I caught for a snack from the looks of him/her.
Because of their bone structure, catfish arent fillade but rather cut into steaks. We had a catfish pond back home and I have caught 30 and 40 pounders. I used to eat them alot when I was growing up poor.

I've got some fillets in my freezer right now. Maybe it depends on the particular type of catfish.
