Program to slow down computer?

I'm trying to play the old Commandos game on my uber pc and it's too fast. What's a good program to slow down the cpu? I found Cpukiller3 but you need to register it after, I want something free. Thnx.

i can't remember the exact name now (fuck), but the name is DOSslow or DOSwindow or something (it'll be on all the abandonware sites), and run commandos within that

Already tried it doesn't work well with this game, the game runs fine it's just too fast.

I did have a program that would emulate the games and they ran at normal speeds...cant remember what it was called tho

Just found CPUKiller, works good. Also good for the quick flash games to get high scores

yeah... a dos simulator would make more sense than slowing your whole pc...
