America was the hero of World War II, obviously. Everything relied on D-Day, and the clear men of D-Day were the Americans fighting the real battles, while the British stormed a couple quiet beaches and called themselves heroes.

You're just lucky the Bankers wanted $$$ and Roosevelt and the Illuminati let Pearl Harbor happen.

Otherwise, you'd easily be speaking German and mourning the recent loss of Der Fuhrer after his life long battle with Parkinson's.

LMAO... You're out of your mind. Your country is our bitch right now. You do everything we say.

If I was in charge of history, I'd never let the US help in WWI. That would stop all of our modern problems.

Yes by helping your country charged us a shit load for everything we borrowed from you, and only helped us right toward the end of the war. So yea, you guys won it all for us.

And I agree with everything chunk had to say, too.

Rep, stop trolling with that shit and look up some german-russian casualty/deployment figures from the Barbarossa campaign. Then compare them to what the US put ashore on Dday and realise that the US would have lost (with breathtaking figures) if Russia hadn't been there.

Ffs this is common knowledge.

You were getting your asses handed to you, and then we rolled into town.

V-E Day came and the Brits were scratching their heads. "'Ow did that 'appen so quickly? We had our arses handed to us constantly, but these Americans who clearly are more manly and have true grit just clobbered the whole scene up. Good job, blokes! Man I'm a tool." - Real quote, Nigel Scoroughby, best decorated member of the Queen's forces.

Your an idiot
The Bristish crack Enigma
If it wasnt for that, th eUS wouldnt have invaded, but the UK/Russia
would have layed it down instead. It would have taken longer, but
we would have won the war. The fact is that the US went in but
followed up most of the front line British Forces. Russia had a MASSIVE
amount of men fighting, like 100 times more than the US.

Chunk owned you

SAS = best rained operative in the world

I know a former member of the SAS and he had 5 American Navy Seals training with them in a sort of "exchange" project. 5 Days into the SAS training they were a mess so he said. Exausted, unfit and just generally a wreck. The 5 SAS guys destroyed the Seals in the US.

Unit Size (US Army in the late-20th Century)
Size, composition, and leadership of military units varies with circumstances, time, and place. The composition of fully authorized units (reflected in this table) may not actually be realized in actual circumstances, especially in action. Use this as a general guide for the late-20th century US Army. Foreign military units may vary considerably

Unit Approximate
Personnel Composition Typical
Commander
Army 100,000 2+ corps, HQ General
Corps 30,000+ 2+ divisions Lt. General
Division 15,000+ 3 brigades, HQ, support units Maj. General
Brigade 4,500+ 3+ regiments, HQ Brig. General
Regiment 1,500+ 2+ battalions, HQ Colonel
Battalion 700 4+ companies, HQ Lt. Colonel
Company 175 4 platoons, HQ Captain
Platoon 40 4 squads Lieutenant
Squad 10 Staff Sergeant

Errr.....Korea was the first joined NATO operation, the Brits were hardly the only ones to help.

And you almost lost the Falklands. If the Argies wouldn't have given up after you torpedoed that one ship of theirs, the UK would have had to a few days later. The Brits lost quite a few very expensive ships, it was a very close call.

EDIT: i saw an interview with some British admiral who ran shit back then, his words.

in the 1st days of the war all the base of operations was on mainland fawkland, we sent 2 carriers full of (inferior) harriers... we lost 2 planes because of low visibility and knocked out a ton of argies, including that ship which forced them to move the operations back to mainland argentina allowing our troops to take the island

i dunno how many ships we lost :/ but the argies got there asses handed to them good n proper

as for korea, like i said iirc, its something i hear off TV or sommit a long time ago, i aint very knowledgable on the korea and vietnam wars at the best of times but the point still kinda applies

and the reason why the empire collapsed is because we joined nato and the empire eventually dispanded because, well, we couldnt do nothing to stop it from happening

We sent every availible man out in Parachutes the day before the Argies surrendered. The Argies thought we had 1000's more so waved the white flag!

In that particullar op we lost like 3 men....
