I maiinly came here to tell you that The Princess Bride does indeed rule, but here are some more suggestions of the top of my head.
Perhaps...
Requiem for a Dream
Crouching Tiger
Braveheart
Blazing Saddles
Young Frankenstein
Any Kevin Smith films
Ronin
Triplettes of Bellville
Amelie
O Brother Where Art Thou?
Any Monty Python
As for music dvds: Tool - Salival (not concert footage, though) and Pearl Jam - Touring Band 2000 and Live at the Garden. :icon14:

Rust Never Sleeps - well, it was originally released in theaters
The first G3 DVD. Definitely not the secone one. Oh no.
p.s. I just wish there was a non-special-edition version of Aliens. The original theatrical cut was much better paced and had a better sense of suspense before they jammed 13 minutes of crap and, admittedly, 2 minutes of good stuff in there.

Glad I found a fellow Bride fan.werldhed wrote:I maiinly came here to tell you that The Princess Bride does indeed rule, but here are some more suggestions of the top of my head.

O Brother was one of the first DVD's I bought; I love that movie.
I saw Blazing Saddles in the store last night though, and entertained buying it. But it's been so long since I've seen it, I'm not sure how well the slapstick humor would hold up to me.
And Monte Python flicks are already on the list. :icon14:
