About Infosprite

Post by roughrider »

This is just a friendly note to anybody that is using/plans to use or wants to use infosprite in the future.
schwim is closing up infosprite effective July 20th, so if you want/need map hosting, you can check out roughrider-maps.net as I am taking all the files I can manage to grab before infosprite closes and placing them on rr-maps.
I am working on new upload features, which currently, will only work for registered people.
I am taking up where infosprite left off as far as hosting/mirroring goes with the exception being, I don't have as much space available as infosprite does. It's going to be alot of work getting it all together by the 20th of July so bear with me.

Thanks goes to schwim for even going out of his way to help out mappers that needed a place to have their maps hosted. Much appreciated schwim.

Damn you for making me think in the evening. And a pity to see something like that go.

Inforsprite was a very generous service. Good luck with roughrider-maps.

Yes indeed, skin. I guess it was about time though.
