George Carlin is very much alive... his wife died in 1997 (Brenda Carlin), and he stopped working for a year. He still does his usual 12-week show thing in LV.

This is the last time I try to contribute something to this derailed thread. i'm not being an idiot, i've found nothing stating he has died, i've found things stating he is alive however. You guys started saying out of nowhere that he was dead and nobody is buying this shit except ppl that pop in and pour this and that on the ground (not that they are actually doing it) if you can provide a link to real info that states he is dead, then i'll leave it alone, otherwise fuck yourself. And I'm not trying to disrespect GC in any way whatsoever, he's my favorite comedian, and probably the one person I wouldn't mind keeping alive had I ever gotten the power to kill all people on this worthless planet. I have more respect for him then any of you do, or think you do. Saying he's dead out of nowhere when all info so far states otherwise is quite a bit of disrespect, not to mention in a form it is defomation of character.

WTF? Copy & paste from my TV? This happened months ago, it's not on any of the major news networks. He was born right here in NYC, so it's probably just on the local news. I'll see if they have a website.
