Any forklift drivers here?

Post by Guest »

Or anyone who have ever driven a gas-powered forklift before. I'm just wondering if you can do a burnout with black lines and smoke on the cement floor that is found in most factories and warehouses. I'm not allowed to drive a forklift, otherwise I'd test my theory myself.

You have to have a superb warehouse strategy.

Yes, you can :) If it's powerful enough of course (doh). I worked in a fish-processing factory and the floors were usually wet and/or icy, so I got very used to spinning and sliding with that 3.000kg thingy. Very cool :D

I can leave a mark with an electric one. Just a tiny one.

with a normal forklift at a stand still it won't spin the tires but if you go backwards really fast then go forward you can get some action.

Yeah on a cement floor it should spin unless it was wet or icy, or you went backwards then reversed gears real fast. I used to get stuck outside once in awhile when I worked for a lumber yard with the forklift and my supervisor would drive out with his and ram me out using the heavy back of the forklift against the back of mine. Fun times :)

We had forklift races inside all the time :)

another way of leaving ur mark is the following.

go max speed u can and then put the brake on as hard at u can. always leaves a black mark when im doing it and im in a rush.

playing with a 4tons/3 tons of metal at high speed aint fun. this about this 3ton @ 15mph is going to create a impact of what mass? then think about hitting someone with that

Oh hell yeah I seen this one guy that stuttered a lot go right through the garage door at the factory I worked at it was hilarious. He stutters real bad when he gets nervous and we told him to go tell the boss :icon19: I laughed my ass off anyway, poor guy was petrified. But yeah he ran the forks right through it, I imagine if I did hit someone or something it woulda fucked it/him up but fortunately I avoid obstacles instead of going through them.

Once we had this guy who was too lazy to get up and open the overhead door, so he stuck the forks underneath it and tried lifting it... The door was latched. The guy was fired.
