Oh yeh the fanboy in me awoke once again, but these two games really bring back some good old memories:
Sonic Rush. Fast as hell. 2D sonic with 3D bits in it. Looks awesome.
New Super Mario Bros. Classic 2D mario-ing again. There hasn't been a new 2D Mario platformer since the SNES days. Fuck all this Mario baseball, soccer, golf and tennis crap, 2D side-scrolling action is where it's at!
I cant wait for the new mario. At last somebody has done what i like, and made a 3D game, 2D, with no fancy camera shit or anything.
IMHO, DKC ruled because of its simple gameplay and collect everything ideas. It was ruined on the 64 in "3D" because it moved to a world. A 32D game, would rock!

It's because you were young then. Those happy days will never come back, you know. Everything nowadays is pretty dull compared to the bliss of nostalgia.
i beg to differ grudge. mario world was the best mario around, and still is. loads of fun, with all the different yoshi's n secret passages n all :icon14:
oh and the different styles of music in the same theme. rocked

youre kidding me! all that bling with the sonic music is wonderful. for reals...its absolutely brilliant. it just doesnt get as much attention because people didnt play it as long as Super Mario Bros. 1.

Yeh, me, my bro, my bro's GF and a friend of ours once sat from like 10 in the evening to 6 in the morning to play every single goddamn Mario Bros 3 level. Sleep deprivation :icon3:
