There is no "maximize" button per se, but the green button will resize the window accordingly. It may maximize it depending on what is in the window to be displayed.

I'm with Shmee. I maximize everything. I'd maximize the calculator if I could.
I love Macs for their simplicity and stability, but man, what an awful UI. You have to do everything the long way. I mean, the home and end keys don't even work in text boxes. Come on!

lol, I had to get used to this too. There's an add-in (dunno wtf I should call it) program for Safari, called Saft with a fullscreen option. It costs money though.
saturn wrote:btw, how much mem did you get with the Mini? Hopefully not 256 Mb, 512 is the minimum for Tiger to work properly.
I think my dad's one came with 512 Mb, but I made him get it factory upgraded to 1 Gb. Tiger runs pretty well on it, despite the whole 4200 rpm drve thing.

4200 rpm drive, it's like a laptop without the screen and the keyboard.
Plus they can do it with passive cooling
I have a 7200 RPM drive in my Powerbook 'cos it used to be part of my recording setup until I bought the G5. No problems with heat or noise, and it gave a nice boost to the OS. But yeah, the fact that the Mini doesn't have any fan noise is pretty sweet - that's why my dad got one rather than any other model, it was to replace his Cube.
There's instructions on how to swap out the hard disk in the manual that comes with the powerbook. It's either a Hitachi or IBM model, can't remember which - it's one of the Travelstar ones, I think.
Yeah, I only got the 256MB one. It's not bad - a little sluggish starting some programs, but once they're up they work fine. One thing has impressed me so far - all I had to do to get pictures out of my camera was to plug it in and open iPhoto.

$500 USD
Edit: The KVM switch I got was $70 - works better than I expected too. It actually switches audio between the machines as well. Hit scroll lock twice and you flip to the next machine. Pretty cool.
