I'm looking for some recommendations of places to visit in the following cities, since I'll be nipping from my island onto the continent in a few weeks time:
Amsterdam
Brussels
Berlin
Krakow
Prague
We're already going to the sex museum and Ann Frank's house in Amsterdam and to Auschwitz from Krakow, the gf knows Prague so I guess she'll know where to go when we're there.
We've got a Lonely Planet guide for Europe, so that's obviously got everywhere we'd want to go, but personal recommendations are useful.
Christ, don't go to the sex museum. It's an absolute waste of your precious time and money. Rather go to one of the bigger musea like the Van Gogh-, and Rijksmuseum.
Brussels got a great center, so wander around pissed like proper Brits do.
Visit the Berlin Zoo, Branenburg Tor and pee on the remnants of the Berlin Wall.
Lonelyplanet guides causes kids to put on a backpack and make the exact same trip as all the other kids who baught the book before them, whilst convinced they're actually the first ones to do so. They clutter together in hostels, like animals seeking shelter in a herd. They have no money to spend on anything, and aren't actually interested in anything either except the trip itself. They then spend half their time complaining about local traditions/food/people/religion/weather after which they fuck off back home and all the locals go 'good riddance'.
you dont use it as a guide though, you use it to read up about a country and its culture, and gives you some ideas on what to see and where to go. if you have an opinion on your own it can be a handy source of suggestions :A
most backpackers are sheep anyways who think theyre doing something new and liberating.

It's more like complaining about lack of attention, which is kinda sad isn't it.
Count yourself lucky. My current fuckbuddy's recently started saying things like "you only want me for sex". Fortunately it's true, so I've not been particularly troubled.
