Devil May Cry

Post by Don Carlos »

The GF is away for 6 weeks so i have 6 weeks of playing games
near enough all the time (when im not decorating or attempting
to do stuff down the gym) so this means i had to get some games
i wanted to play lots and play them. First on my list were :

Devil May Cry 1, 2 and 3

Im on DMC 1

Ok, abit slow on the uptake, but this game is fucking awesome.
Its fantastic fun and looks the shit. Its alot of learning skills and
collecting red orbs buts one hell of a good laugh. The gun/sword
switch is fucking fantastic. Only a little way into the game but its
still the shit. Cant wait to really get my skills up so i can own
the little monsters with some crazy moves.

Next on the list is Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3, Final Fantasy X and Halo 2

Tomorrow is Tekken 5 day and probably the entire weekend will
be apart from sunday when im workin, but that doesnt stop me in
the night !!! :D

Anyone else played DMC?? What u think? :paranoid:

I had to have the clutch replaced on my car so its left me rather
short of cash. So far i have decorated, played alot of sport with
a few mates and chilled and its ben fucking amazing. Just coz i
dont go to bars til 4 am and tip waitresses 10 bucks a drink, play
pool to world champion status and fight people 3 times my size
and destroy them coz im the fuckingman and you should worship
me, doesnt mean that i dont have laugh in the ways i like. For
instance, my mates parents are away for 3 weeks so ima be up
there alot on the bbq and drinkin with chums, down the park playin
a bit of Footy and Rugby, at the gym losin a few pounds and just
generally havin a good time. Sorry my idea of fun isnt boasting about
be gangster and pimpin and husslin on an interweb forum!!

I'll take notes from yourself next time.

Oh by teh way, Saturday night i plan to do abit of night time
photography, as im aloud to stay up later than 9 now!!!

If you're into racing games and like GT3 or GT4 Forza Motorsports is sweet too.

Don't buy MGS2 unless you really love the series and wanna see what happens. The story is sweet, but playing as some girlish blonde guy sucks...especially at the end, which I won't spoil for you if you actually buy it. If you do buy MGS2 though, go for MGS2 Substance, has all those nifty little side missions.

I have had MGS 2 since it was out, but never really played it much

Too much time on GT3/Q3 round that point ;)

You know... I wasn't going to say this but I figure I will anyway just to be a prick.

Not that there's anything wrong with doing what you're doing while the girl is out but I'm just curious what makes you think you have the right to critisize what I do for fun versus what you do?

Obviously after my jab at you earlier which was just cheap humor obviously resulted in such a defensive yet scathing statement on my personal life versus yours which you imply is so much more better than mine.

I mean I could see somekind of point if everything you said wasn't grosely exagerated and just plain wrong but hey who cares about facts when you're trying to make yourself feel so much superior to someone else right?

MGS3 is total ownage though. The story advancement and the emotional ivolvement are 90 times better than the last two PSX games.

Well sir, it wasnt what i call a scathing statement. It was more fact.
I didnt say my time was better than your at any point in my little paragraph.
I mearly said that i dont have to do the kinda things you do to have
fun. i like gettin wrecked as much as the next person, but i dont
feel the need to do it all te time. I have better things to do with
my time. Spending time with mates and playin sport is quality time
imo.

Not one note tried to make me out as being superior. I was just
defending my right to have fun in a different manner to yourself.

I'm sorry, there's two ways to go about that, one is to do it the way I just did and the other is to try and insult the other person. Guess which way you chose?

Devil May Cry 2 is a terrible game. It doesn't even make any sense.
