Well you should live here. We have about 3 months of nice weather (this year it's more like 5)
The great thing is it's right next to a large bay. It's temperature only fluctuates about 4 degrees above or below 0 celcius so it's extremely cold even during the summer and keeps the city where I live constantly cool. I hate it personaly, I'd like to see at least a couple weeks of the year where it's nice and warm even at night. During the night you still wear a light jacket of somesort to keep warm tshirt would be too cold.
The bonus is you always sleep well since your never sleeping in your own sweat.
Some sunnies and a large tub of "sun factor dufflecoat" suntan lotion should see him through this summer !
