Warts

Post by bork[e] »

Any of you have any, I've got 2. :(

Planter's wart or something is the kind I currently have. Neither one has been a problem until now. I bought some stuff at the local drug store to burn/freeze them off and one came back, with a vengeance. The bitch will not stop itching and it's on the upper part of my thumb. Any large amount of pressure I put on it hurts like hell.

Guess I'll try and burn 'er off or just wait 2 years for it to go away on its own. Yes, that right...they go away on their own after 2 years.

I think warts are gross. I had warts once on my thumb when I was young and it went away on it's own. Didn't take two years though, more like 6 or 7 months.

i had one on my wrist that was caused (i assume) by irritation from my watch strap. I dug it out with a scalple.

i've had a wart on the side of one of my thumbs once. It naturally went away after a year or so. was actually probably less.

warts and moles are similar in that both are cancerous growths of some sort if im not mistaken. it's just a different type of cancer for each one.

I had a really itchy one on the pad of my pointer finger it was annoying when I needed to push anything. After about 6 months I realized it wasn't going anywhere. I got 2 good suggestions.

1. Put rubbing alcohal on it a few times a day. I used a tissue and rubbed it on the wart a few times a day, whenever I remembered. after a few days it shrunk, then after about 4 weeks it went away and never returned. I did put alcohal on it for a few weeks after it went away. I think that's why it never came back. An 89 cent bottle of running alcohal go figure...

2. someone also suggested put duct tape on it like a band-aid, something in the tape makes the wart go away. I never tried it, but "I heard it works"

Did that a couple of times, they kept coming back. After a month or 7 I went to someone who blessed them and did 3 prayers in the evening and they were gone in about 2 months, all of them. Weird since i'm not a religion fanatic. But everything's worth a shot and this one worked.

Bury a pea in the garden. BELIEVE IN IT AND IT WILL GO AWAY.

thats because the root of a wart is below the skin. you have to get them out or they will regrow.
i used to have warts when i was like 5 or so...
once i did this liquid nitrogen thing. pretty efficient. but there are other methods like special tinctures or plasters.

I'm gonna try what Giraffe }{unter said if it comes back again, just burnt it off earlier today. Not about to spend $200.00 to let the doc do it, I'll burn one off my eye ball before I do that shit.

You can fart in your sleep and it will get rid of one, its all about making your body remove it for you. Believe in it going away and it will. Sounds daft but its true.
