Excellent free Database design tool

Post by Foo »

Just found this tonight:
http://www.fabforce.net/dbdesigner4/
Free and Open Source. Definitely the easiest SQL Editor I've ever used.

I can't get it to connect to my web host directly, but I think that's the hosts fault, not the application.

Have hacked up a database design in a matter of 30 mins which I've been trying to get down manually for the past 2 months. Impressive stuff :icon25:

Hmm, I'll check it out man. So far, my database + coding knowledge has been pretty basic, but it's the *one* area I'm still interested in when it comes to software/applications.
what lies beyond...

Looks nice, but I can't get it to connect to an MSSQL server using windows authentication. I think I'll stick with the MS tools.
