..and all the other good stuff that you can do when not working.

Might have to get some advice from goof on how to fill my days, but my wife does the vacuuming.

Be prepared for a barrage of conspiracy theory links until late August.

No, I'm not a big fan of traveling to be honest. I hate the hassle. It's like camping for me...I love to see nature, as well as famous places and whatnot, but just really don't enjoy the process of getting there, or actually staying there.

I'm a pretty content guy for the most part, so I can pretty much have a good time wherever I am at.

I'd like to see the Louvre, Versailles (sp?), and the like at some point, because French history (especially the French Revolution) is one of my favorite subjects and something that I continue to read about...have been a French Revolution "buff" since I was about 15...even when I was a hard drinking, steroid using graduate student in molecular biology,

Who's your pick? Let's get a little competition going here.

Olin Browne is on fire since his 59 in qualifying. Woods will be tough here, because he is so consistent when it comes to being able to hang around par (which is probably where the winner will be...I'd be real suprised if the winner was more than 6 or 7 under...but that may happen). Goosen will be tough here too.

woods 4/3odds
mikelson 3/2 odds
goosen 3/1 odds
scott 3/1 odds
browne 4/1 odds
singh 5/2

There are a few...odds are just made up on the spot by me.

traveling isn't that much hassle, but you have to make the hassle part of the fun. Preparing the trip, getting your stuff together. Bring with you as little as you need.

I like to go backpacking in less civilised parts of the world, only done it a few times now, but it's just pure adventure when you're hiking through mountains of Vietnam on the border of China and meeting local people who offer you a meal and place to sleep.

I've been to the Louvre last december. I made it a whole day visit with a dinnerbreak inbetween. Seeing the Louvre in the evening is magical, it's just amazing to see all the art they've collected/stolen. The part where they exhibit enormous statues and walls from ancient Mesopotamia was one the most impressive places in the enormous museum. (p.s. check Madonna on the Rocks and see how da Vinci blasphemed Jesus)

Don't be a couch potato :p

Yea, let me know. I have 4 weddings to go to/be part of in August, so the schedule is pretty booked. Plus, the club championship and yearly amatuer championship at my home course is in August. Busy month. heh.

hmm, I'd love to travel abroad, but I'm not really a big "adventure" kind of person, wouldn't know how to handle the language barrier, etc etc. I guess you could say I'm a wuss ;)

Still, I must make it to Europe sometime; Italy/Austria/Switzerland/Germany/Scandinavia, New Zealand.

Someday.

Oh, and dammit, I will always go with Phil.
what lies beyond...

It's a state in the pacific northwest.

Not Oregon.

Well, it is looking like this probably won't be Woods tournament here....his distance control with the irons just isn't there, and he is missing some critical putts. I'm pulling for KJ Choi now.

Olin Browne looked like he was on meth during today's round. He needed to pop a few Xanax or something. Very jittery.
