Pac Man is 25.

I was 5 years old when it came out. Still can remember playing it at the pizza place my parents took us to.

It's odd to think back to the days when you actually looked forward to going to various pizza joints and video arcades to play those games that just blew away the shit your see on your home system. Miss those days a bit... :tear:

Something about a Friday night with your friends all crowded around a video game, sucking down mountain dew and pizza. Nostalgia.

totally agree. when pacman came out, it was JJ's ice cream parlour in Tacoma, Washington for me. sigh...

Indeed. Thats why i built a mame cab. Its not the same, but its still pretty shiggity shwa.

Maybe that can be my summer project. I have a motherboard, processor, and video card sitting around (AMD XP 1900, ATI radeon, etc..).

Kids love it too. They never got to experience owning it up in Donkey Kong, so in a way its like making our memories the memories of a new generation.

mario bros is my favorite. The original. I play it every night. Well I used to... the tv in my mame cab died recently. Not sure what the hell happened with that. It like burned out and made a horrible smell.

I was just starting my teenage years when pacman came out. I never really played it that much though. Now Asteroids was a different story. I played it A LOT. :)
