Its just a crap game really. I dont thin its my cup of tea. I didnt find it fun, just pissed me off. Maybe it would change under clan conditions but for now its a game i will not be buying. Tekken 5 on the other hand

the demo seems pretty solid (for a BF game). if it can be on par with desert combat - but with better flight controls - i'll play it to death, at least until tekken 5 is out

BF2 is simply Battlefield VN revamped with newer models.. ohh, and voip ( wooopeee, people only use it to spit out bullshit anyway ) rgr

Sorry, and you can prove diffrent?

i've played the damned thing for about 10 hours before i made this decistion, the rendering is a *Little* beter, But overall nothing is to fucking ace like the hype was made up to be.

if someone ported those models to VN then you would see what im talking about..

persionally, the whole game reminds me of Desertcombat ( with the models and etc, this is Def not a bad thing, thats why i played the game for that long )

But all in all, the game isent worth what the hype has made it out to be.. also what people are making it out to be.

And Doom 3 is just a 'revamped' Doom 2.

The engine is totally different, which changes the physics, the rendering, the model movements, the weapon movements, and the game play. Is that enough?

They fixed all the retarded bugs, added a third team, added new roles of play (commander mode), new features (such as artillery, shell shock), and balanced the weapons, teams and vehicles in a surprisingly well way.

On top of that, it runs really well too.

This game may not be the visually 'defining' game of the decade, but it IS however the best battlefield simulator in existance so far.

after buying Vietnam and seeing how SHITTY it was, BF2 is sooo much nicer..

dunno what your huge problem is with it, but its really a great game..

its nothing for me to get all Excited about and want to play the game when it handels and plays the same as the older ones.. reguardless of the balence or etc...

btw, soap: its not a Big problem... at all.. i respect the game, but its not even CLOSE to what was said it was going to be. and thats all im stating.

Close to what who said it would be?

I find that such a subjective statement it can't be taken seriously. While I understand what you mean by 'not what you expected', I am left to wonder what you DID expect?

Not that you said it claimed to be, but I don't ever remember this game being touted as a visual or technological leap forward. This game was always about the play so far as I knew, and on that objective, I think they've really hit the nail on the head (hard too).

Can you offer some examples to clarify what you felt was a let down?

I didn't like the BF1942 much, but BFV was more fun. Now the BF2 demo looks very promising IMO. I love it

It's fun on public when I'm lucky enough to be on with people who actually wants to coop. and work together etc.. With friends on the server and we're all on VT it's a damn blast

Have had a few great commanders also who we worked well with. Very fun

Definitely gonna by this one

i was running round with just a plain look on my face, wondering why i was still playing

i actually think DC was better

but we shall see when the game is released

I agree completely. When I first fired up the demo and hit the sprint button, I found myself sprinting from building to building taking cover and crouching when I stopped. Me and this other guy was covering each other while doing this. It was weird, cause it just felt right to do this kind of stuff. I've never had a need to do that shit in any other mulitplayer war game.
