Install that, then paste the gamespot link for BF2 in there. Got mine in 9 minutes, believe it or not. Make sure you let it run for a minute or two after it hits 100%, otherwise you'll have problems.
You're welcome, nerds.

I didn't find anything with spybot, ad-aware, hijack this, and Panda+Housecall+AVG. I think Con Darlos is being ridiculous.[xeno]Julios wrote:there's some evil shit out there that is close to impossible remove without formatting.rep wrote:Not like it's hard to get rid of spyware.
Edit: Even if it did have something, isn't the 1540KB/s actual download speed worth it?

[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.
It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.
I am now sick.

I just dled this thing in 10 Minutes and had it installed after 12. Works and was 200% faster.DiscoDave wrote:You're an idiot if you think a program can make you downloads go something stupid like 200% faster
I don't think it's the program - but it certainly does something to get premium access to the Gamespot DL servers.
No, you're an idiot because you can't type a sentence without appearing to be an imbecile.DiscoDave wrote:You're an idiot if you think a program can make you downloads go something stupid like 200% faster
I haven't read up on the program, but as far as I know it downloads the file in pieces so you can get it from HTTP servers faster. I don't think it'll speed up anything with FTP, but I haven't tried thoroughly yet.
I ran a quick test (Search Yahoo video search for 60MB) and pick any of the videos that come up. Here are the results:
Internet Explorer: 380kB/s
Firefox: 370kB/s
Opera: 410kB/s
True Downloader: 805kB/s

It does it on most if not all HTTP servers. Too bad they probably won't integrate it into actual web browsing, just on file downloads so far.KingManULTRA wrote:I just dled this thing in 10 Minutes and had it installed after 12.
