Just watch and see. Once 7 hits that market share FF has finally got a bit of will shrink dramatically because IE is easy to use and easy to update (and already installed). After SP2 its not so bad for security as long as its properly configured.

As for your other issue thats one I haven't seen even on the quite rare instances where IE crashes. Maybe a software conflict or other issue?

I love IE with XP SP2. The add-in manager is awesome for disabling spyware.

That hasn't happend to me since IE4 and Windows 98.....

that totally depends on what other software is on your system. just because IE crashes doesn't mean IT's at fault. IE never crashed on me when i used to use it, but it was so featureless, it was pitiful, so i switched.
