Are there still any Dream Theater fans around here?

Have you heard the new Octavarium album? What do you people think of it? I have heard it only once so it's a bit early to form a real opinion. One thing that stood out to me though was the very Muse like sound of the song Never Enough. Could've been Muse themselves playing it.

I really like the album. It's true what Eraser says, some songs have some definate Muse influences in them. But I disagree with the statement that "Muse could've played it themselves"... technically Dream Theater is so much better than Muse that I actually like DT's interpretation of the Muse sound better than the original.
yah yah I didn't mean that literally. It's just that the style is so reminiscent of Muse that in basic form it could be a Muse song.r3t wrote:I really like the album. Those that got the album, listen to The Root of all Evil at 4:50 to about 5:20. Listen to it carefully, then listen to This Dying Soul from the Train of Thought album, at 3:00.
