It's all about the love man.

I understand Snoops position, he thought he was getting attacked. In reality it was just an overzealous fan that hopped on stage falling into him because security jumped him (or someone in the band did).

But he wasn't up to any harm, and after he went down it was total cheese of them to keep beating on him. That's the part the victim even said was all that bothered him. He wasn't surprised security went for him, but he didn't try to hurt anyone, so he didn't understand the reason for such a beating.
