Freestylin. (Hip Hop Heads) Sys0p/Keep it Real/Raw...

Post by CaseDogg »

...and anyone eles. These are two dudes, "Maine and Spitta" from this lil crew called "Young Money" Lil Wayne new click. They're in a hotel room freesylin with no beat, accapella. Peple that don't listen to hip hop might not understand what they're talkin about but trip anyways. I think they ill as hell though.

It's kinda long so some might not watch the whole thing. Dude with the black New York hat is is so fuckin ill its sick, (Maine) shit like second nature to him, just pure talent. ill.

The dude Curren$y (hot spitta) usta was from No Limit records.

Well case, I think trying to understand this has made me feel like you said you do when I am rambling about all my science stuff.

Mindless Self Indulgence is pretty ILL too y0

From their song Faggot:

"i - i could've been a star
it freaks me out when i sound just like my mom
i could've rocked the spot
instead of being just another faggot like i am
i played that shit straight
blowin' suckas on the side hopin' i get laid
now everybody knows
no way in hell i can ever live it down"

Immortal Technique puts those two to shame, and he does it intelligently as well.

IMO there's much more skill in what Immortal Technique does than in what those two guys were doing. I'll admit that Eminem still is one of the champs of lyrical flow and rhymes, but if you think about it, the rap that those guys were freestyling is the very stuff the originators of hiphop and rap didn't want becoming mainstream. Tupac and Biggie, and most of the best rappers out there (Common, Big Pun etc) weren't writing every single song about cars, guns, booze and women. They at least had some sort of story to tell, something that has been lost in modern, popular interpretations of rap. I'll take Mos Def, Jedi Mind Tricks, Talib Kwali, Immortal Technique etc over that stuff any day
