Start another bank/credit union account, interest isn't important yet, but put your savings out of easy reach.

Best advice I ever had was to take 10% of my income and save/invest that before I live off the balance.

Any ideas? I m sick of working this job and wanna losen up my financial future so i can move to like costa rica or something :)

Just phishing....
lol, I hope that's a joke or you still live with your parents...in which case you are the joke. :p
Not a joke, im serious. I live in a nice apt by the beach, i have a job that nets nice cash flow for the first time in my life and i wanna use it as a springboard to get to a better life where i make money and work less.

So im phishing for ideas, some smart people here and you never know where a good idea could come from.

Example, you say im a joke if i live at home. You say the word home, and it makes me think of real estate which motivates me to call my brother thats in real estate and see if i can get in on something for a quick turn around...

Hey wait a sec... have to make a phone call...

I reccommend you invest in real estate in Iraq. Prices are at an all time low at the moment, but it's bound to go up!

You don't make anything, you live at home with your parents. I wish you cancer over the internet.

Im looking for something safe atfirst, once i get a lil bigger stash, ill risk some of it. Right now its going to take me 1 full year to save up 30-40k and i dont wanna have to work this job for another year to build up another stash cause i lost it all on 1 thing. Deversification is going to be a key element.
