After getting a rental car (finally) I decided to head out to the local guitar stores to see what they had. This first place I stumbled upon was called AJ's Guitar Shop and they had some NICE guitars. No knock offs, cheap brands, nothing but name, age, and character. They didn't have the Schecter C1-E/A that I was scouting for, but had alot of PRS's and Gibson and Fenders, Deans, things of that nature.
I then went to the Guitar Center down the road and found this little gem. It still wasn't the C1-E/A I really really wanted, but they let me play it and I had to have it. I especially like the humbucker coil splitting feature on the back 2 knobs. Pull them out and it makes them single coils.
I'll try and post some samples later but I am just having too much fun with it right now.
Oh and the amp...needed something...and I have a woody for fender amps anyhow. I don't know why....the clean tone with my Stratocaster is so awesome.
