Logitech What the hell were you thinking?

Post by Giraffe }{unter »

Teaming up with eBay, musicmatch and real one. You're not making enough money with your hardware sales you need to ghey up your software with this crap. SHAME ON YOU!!!!

I was surprised to see them trying to ghey up my computer with the Setpoint software's additional software.

Not only that but the MX-1000 feels like a cheap kensington knockoff, the center mouse button is a pain in the ass to press because of the sloppy side scroll. This makes my tabbed browsing in Firefox a pain in the ass. The additional mouse buttons flop around and do not feel like a quality assembly. My MX-700 was a solid feeling mouse and is still after 3 years kicking ass. (My Review)

I somehow don't feel that this mouse is going to last that long. :(

Man I'm loosing all respect for Logitech. I'm going to give it some time before I truely bash the hell out of it, but man am I dissappointed.

Yeah I should have went that route, but I assumed Logitech would WOW me with another quality mouse that would last me 3 more years. Glad the woman only paid $50.00 for it :D

Wanted a wireless and after how awesome the MX-700 I felt I couldn't go wrong...

I got it from newegg I'm going tokeep it and give it a chance it's quite comfortable and tracks very nicely, but the chessy buttons are pissing me off, I STILL CAN'T smoothly use center mouse to open a new TAB :icon33:
Setpoint is like the mousewares software, only it's called setpoint now.

Well I own an MX700 and MX510, love both. I only have the software installed on one machine, cause the wired keyboard win't remember that I hit the F-Lock key, the wireless one will. I am most pleased with my Logitech products, sorry the MX1000 isn't stepping up. I almost got an MX1000 till Soapboy said the issue he was having.
Altho I also owned a Razer Boomslang and was most displeased, it would hang up and hated doing vertical moves. Now the real pisser was that I was supposed to get this $80 mouse for free with my 5700 Ultra, but the rebate never came through.

It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.

I am now sick.

Can you not just double-click the tab bar to open a new tab?

I pressed in the INCLUDED Nicad Batteries and spent a good minute searching the base for the location to plug in the AC Adapter, only to find it strategically located as part of the USB Connector . Now the worst part… 1 hour of SHEER TORTURE staring at this mouse while it charged. The hypnotizing flash of the green charging light kept catching my eye and distracting me. But I knew I had to wait…
What a laughable review.
