Movie had issues tbh.. The beginning was just incredibly disjointed - edit cuts fuckin everywhere, and the screen was just crowded with principal characters not really interacting properly. Anyone else feel the dialogue was awkward and stilted? I was too aware that they just shoe-horned Carrie Fisher's lines into conversations that never felt comfortable in the slightest.

There were some cool moments at the end (saber swap by far the best), but overall pretty disappointed.

Big storytelling issues imo.
That scene with the tug-of-war force power was just WTF.. zero interaction, lots of edit cuts, lots of shots of people screaming to go, and then again screaming to go.. sheesh.

The kiss at the end was just so out of place, and tbh most disappointing part was the death - really didn't seem necessary or warranted. Felt like the fact that he used that "major light side power" should have been the pinnacle of his redemption arc, but then just to die... wasted.
Also stupid fucking party-planet ending BLEH
