This app is interesting, but I don't even intent to use it. First, I don't have iPhone, so I can't use the app. Second, I'm not interested to see my older "me", so I guess I shall only laugh over old "me" of my friends

They use that info to build profiles on you so they can create custom algorithms that push narratives to you so they can control what you think. See Cambridge Analytica for an example. If you believe you're immune the opposite is more likely. There's substantial evidence Trump was elected using these techniques to sway voters with custom targeted propaganda using this type of metadata. You guys are litteral sheep, people who know nothing about this stuff are the most affected.
