After a 12-year wait, we’re moving ever so closer to getting a new Tool album. The band has spent the last month or so holed up in the studio recording the follow-up to 2006’s 10,000 Days. While there’s still no timetable for the album’s release, it appears the band slid a small audio preview into a promo video for their upcoming music clinic tour.
Saw posted on their Facebook page some time ago they were indeed writing and recording. I'm not letting my excitement get the better of me though. It's been 12 years. Who knows if it is indeed going to come to an album and if so, if they still got it.
Which reminds me, I hear there's a new APC record out..
Dunno about APC but the Tool fanbase are a bunch of... well... Tools. There's so much negativity flowing there. I guess there quite a bit of overlap between those two fanbases, so I guess that any complaining about an APC album should be taken with a large chunk of salt.
