Having some stuttering in Boiling point and im tweaking it.
In the read me it says this:
"Generally speaking, with less than 1GB of RAM, it is recommended you set the virtual memory to a page file size with a starting value of 1,5 GB."
Where do i do this, although i have 1gig of ram, i still wanna try it?
I wouldn't touch it, I doubt you'll see a difference tbh. All that does is use your harddrive as if it was RAM. Your hdd is gonna be slower than the RAM by far...I'm sure someone can actually explain this to you, but that's all I can really say right now.
I think its good to keep it small. hd's are slower. it has to search the space on hd for the shit to swap, more space, more shit to search. Its also better to keep it on a different hd than your boot drive, and gaming drive. the more heads cranking the better. At least thats what i figure.
Pagefiles suckass. I killed mine a long time ago, however I had one app that couldn't work without one, so I had to re-enable paging. Pagefiles suckass.
