The ISO date format is the best as it's the least confusing; 2017-04-21. E.g., with 10/11/12 depending on who wrote it that could be three different dates, which can be a complete pain

Heh forgot about that. Whenever I work on tables in websites sorting by localised date formats is a complete nightmare.
