January 31, 2017:
A Denver transit officer was killed by a mentally ill Army Veteran

February 23, 2017:
A Kansas man shot three people after yelling "get out of my Country." The gunman said he believed the men he shot were Middle Eastern, but the victims were Indian engineers.

March 25, 2017:
James Harris Jackson, a white supremacist, stabbed an African-American to death in New York.

Because in the end every American is an immigrant if you look far enough back? Two of the three reports of 2017 are directed against immigrants or those of immigrant descent.
