Involuntary unconsciousness

As the title says. I've had this problem since I was about 18. In variousdifferent situations I will suddenly feel nauseous and pass out. It's happened while I was walking, sitting, active etc. Lately I've been able to know when it would happen and if I laid down it would go away after 15 minutes or so.

Last night though I was just laying on the couch watching highlander and I felt nauseous. It came on pretty fast and in the span of 30 seconds I thought I was going to vomit and attempted to get to the bathroom. I woke up on the kitchen floor still thinking I had to get to the bathroom but realized I must have passed out as I was face first in a puddle of drool.

I also get what I can only describe as super hearing when I wake up. All sounds are incredibly amplified and I can hear the faintest buzzing noises in my vicinity.

I've been to the doctors twice in the past but they couldn't tell me what it might be. I'd eaten a few hours before the last episode. Good thing is that when I wake up, aside from the soreness of my face smashing the ground I feel fine.

Anyone ever experience this or know someone like this? I've had cat scans, eeg scans done but showed nothing. Seems to be happening more frequently as of late. Roughly once every 2 months.

Narcolepsy or epilepsy? Those would be my guesses, but this isn't exactly doctor3world.

I heard it could happen to people who have been hit in the head with a pipe once or twice, maybe look into that.

I was going to ask have you ever had a head injury as is sounds like the remnants of a concussion injury, that's my first guess.

I'd be attending doctors until I had the answer.
Advise how frequent this happens please Κracus and the length of time you're out. Oh, and any medications you're taking as sometimes it is simply A doesn't agree with B (medication/food wise).

Have you tried not feeling nauseous and then passing out to cure the issue?

Surprised the doctors didn't recommend this course of action tbh.

Yeah it's a bit funny but last night was a bit of an eye opener for me as I assume I barely missed the corner of an oak table I have in the kitchen...

I'm less worried about randomly losing consciousness and more worried about where I land when it happens. I've been lucky so far and mostly came out uninjured.

The only blows to the head I've taken are from the falls themselves. I don't think I have narcolepsy as I don't feel sleepy during the day, I don't just go to sleep like it's described and there's the whole nauseous feeling that's not a symptom in narcolepsy.

I'm also a bit worried about that shit happening while I'm riding my bike or car...

Yeah, don't go your doctor and get a diagnosis. I'm sure if you keep asking strangers on the internet things will work themselves out. Most certainly before you veer into oncoming traffic and kill someones family.

Yeah I'm going, just figured I'd check with internet strangers in case they've seen/experienced something similar and might know what caused.

Like the last two times I've been there I suspect they'll tell me there's nothing wrong and send me on my way. :/
