A shooting at Fort Lauderdale airport in Florida has killed "multiple people", according to local officials.

Broward County Sheriff's Office said the suspected gunman has been taken into custody.

1. it doesn't mention the ethnicity of the shooter
2. it's probably not the first mass shooting of 2017, just the first one we've heard about
