I'd have rather seen him rot his entire life win prison than as a dead 'martyr'...

history doesn't "dictate" anything, and we're not returning to the 1930s

the Nazis were able to consolidate their power because some communist burned down a building, an act which killed no one (apart from the communist, who was executed). so far in Europe Islamists have killed a shitload of people in various kinds of attacks and still not one European government has done anything even remotely similar

Uh, I'm actually talking fairly recent history and the political and social overhaul currently taking place in Europe. I thought my mention of the French Patriot Act made that clear.

And as far as those terrorists go, they're funded and trained by the wonderful allies of many European countries *coughSAUDIARABIATURKEYcough*. Their official title is Syrian Democratic Forces when they're killing people east of Turkey :smirk:

Also worth noting how Russia, the only European country actually fighting against ISIS, has not been attacked by these primitive cave trolls.

The dude pulled a gun, fired and injured one of the police dudes during a routine stop. Without knowing the full details it's probably a pretty safe assumption that detaining this person would have been difficult without further loss of life and unlikely.

Why do escaping terrorists always leave their driver's licenses, passports, birth certificates, phones and ISIS memorabilia at the scene of the crime? Chunk doesn't know but he's sure it's nothing worth noting *dances distractedly*

More than half of your examples aren't even in Russia and the others aren't comparable to France, Belgium and Germany.

More than a year and counting. Those mongoloids aren't getting anywhere near Moscow without more help from Turkey.

probably because Syrian refugees aren't heading for Russia, and also Russia isn't the only Euro country fighting ISIS

But they never attacked Russia, right ?

The other half aren't comparable how ?, that they didn't garner they same amount of media attention ?. That's just over a 1(ish) year period - 5 attacks, despite what semen said which is also entirely relevant.

So now it's Moscow that needs to be attacked ?, way to move the goal posts shithead.

Check the 3rd ? link then
The terrorist group Islamic State (ISIS)* has claimed responsibility for an attack that occurred on Oct. 23 in Nizhny Novgorod. The SITE Intel Group, which monitors global terrorist activity, tweeted the group's claim on Wednesday.
Same source source as yours

Which references this attack -
Isis has claimed responsibility for an attack on traffic police on a road north east of Moscow, in what would be the jihadi group’s first terror strike on Russian soil outside the North Caucasus region.

Hmm, are any of those European countries still supporting the SDF and selling arms to Saudi Arabia while claiming to take on ISIS?
losCHUNK wrote:Russian intervention ftw, should I mention Hezbollah ?
Russia's in the business of self-preservation, not aggressive imperialist expansion like the glorious free western democracies. When their sworn enemies begin arming nationalists and attacking Russians on their own doorstep, they have every right to step in. That shouldn't be a tough concept to grasp, even for someone who never finished primary school...?

As a welshy you were probably brought up to have some kind of beef with Russia on a cellular level, so it's easy for you to accept the good vs bad scenario the western media creates on a daily basis. If you ever decide to leave your flat for once in your life, you might see the uncensored and unedited perspective of people who have experienced these situations firsthand.

And to somewhat go back on topic, I'd bet you goof's last testicle that without foreign support ISIS wouldn't be able to stomp an ant in Europe.

I have Irish family who grew up living with the IRA so I know full well how funding and supporting groups such as those bring about a shitstorm. My cousin can barely talk anymore cos he had a paving slab thrown on his head by separatist supporters. That was back in 96 and will never be able to function within society without assistance. This is even without going into details such as the bloody Sunday massacre and all the shit that it brought about, or Clinton recoignising IRA demands and inflaming issues back in 96 which lead to the good Friday agreement, along with the high Irish population, some of which I consider very good friends living in my immediate area who left Ireland because of it.

I can cite other examples, referencing my travels or friends if you'd like. Kosovans, Slovakians, Sri Lankans etc all now live here for similiar reasons.

What I'm drawing objection to is your love in with Russia whilst throwing the western world under the bus, your rhetoric about Russia being in the business of self preservation can be a claim made by those supporting the Saudis also. Even ISIS can make the same claim, the whole point of Russias imperialistic style expansion when annexing Crimea was its fear at losing its influence, this was after they tried rigging the government and going against popular opinion in a democratic society. In the end they're all murdering scumbags with the goal of individuals expanding their power, it's just that you support some of them.

Again, perspective is fucking you.

Talking about the Syrian Defense Forces like they're still an actual thing is a bit of a fallacy anyway, they've been thoroughly thinned out the last few years. The regime forces have the upper hand only because of the weird Russio-Iranian-Hezbollah alliance, where one side provides firepower and military professionalism and the other two throw heaps of warm bodies at the problem in the form of ill regulated militias (and scores of poor fucking Afghan Hazara's who've been told they're being sent to protect Shia shrines from the Sunni hordes or someshit).

Aleppo was a succes, but only recently - from what i read the Russians basically got pissed after much bungling by their allies and insisted on a central command structure under Russian leadership. It worked, but they did lose Pamyra again because apparently they can't focus on two spots at once and Allepo was the bigger prize - will be interesting to see whether they'll be able to work together again without fucking up too badly and how this being spread really thin thing will work out for them.
