A Silicon Valley titan is putting money behind an unofficial Donald Trump group dedicated to “shitposting” and circulating internet memes maligning Hillary Clinton. Oculus founder Palmer Luckey financially backed a pro-Trump political organization called Nimble America, a self-described “social welfare 501(c)4 non-profit” in support of the Republican nominee. Luckey insists he’s just the group’s money man—a wealthy booster who thought the meddlesome idea was funny. But he is also listed as the vice president of the group on its website. “I’ve got plenty of money,” Luckey added. “Money is not my issue. I thought it sounded like a real jolly good time.”
The backlash was swift. Several developers have already backed out of putting their in-development games on the Rift. http://kotaku.com/vr-developers-speak-o ... 1787013760
Now everyone's scrutinizing Luckey and it turns out he's kind of a shitty dude, plus they're dragging his girlfriend into the judge-fest. http://gizmodo.com/palmer-luckey-millio ... 1786994094
GG Trump.

That was mostly tongue in cheek. The real issue I have is with someone funding a shitposting mill. It's one thing to voice your opinion, it's another to enable people to spread racism, lies and a white supremacy agenda. My issue isn't with Trump, but his supporters. Or in this instance, Luckey's seeming lackadaisical decision to fund some of the worst of them.
