One last camera question.
One last camera question.
So I've got this camera but as some know it's broke.
Been looking around Kodak's site for a way to get this fixed, I've got 2 options that seem like a good choice. I'm not to bright about cameras so what would you guys do?
My two options are send it in and for a Minor Repair pay $125.00 and for a Major Repair it's $175.00. Now it's only a button so I'm guessing this will fall under the Minor.
My other option is to trade it in for this
Wich one seems the better deal in your opinion?

Cool, :icon30: .shadd_. wrote:i would go for the trade in. it's only 4MP but has way more manual controls and is a newer model with better compression algorithms.(better quality pics taken in .jpg format)
I've got one last person I'm going to talk to and see if he can rig something up for it. If not I'll trade 'er in.
Dont be a fool.
Buy the EXACT same camera, making surethat you can easily take it back and get a refund. You should be ok to do this as camera quality will fall under return policy.
Only buy the camera, take the new one out, put the old one in the box, and return it. Say its either faulty (doesn't work) or you just want your money back.
They should be ok with that. After all, you cant ell tif its gonna be faulty or what the quality it like in the box, can you?
Get your money back.
Save yourself a lot of money, PLUS get a brand new camera. Sorted.

You miss understood.bork[e] wrote:@ o'dium - I think you forgot that a guy gave this to me broke and I got it working other than the little button. So I don't have any papers and forms or any of that. What I'm looking at is choices I have in my situation. That being said do you think it's better just to get the current one fixed?
Buy the exact same camera from a shop, drop doller on it.
You get EVERYTHING. Packing, books, everything.
Make sure though, you can take it back first.
Then, once you have brought the new camera with said box/books etc, swap the two cameras around (not the boxes) and take the faulty one back in the new box.
Ger money back.
Sorted.
