I've never bought a single copy of windows, other than windows 95 which I won in a competition years ago, but I had it then anyway.

However I have 90% of the Windows OS's that were released (3.1, 3.11, 95, 98, 98se, ME, 2k Pro, 2k Server, XP Corp) :clownboat:

same here and besides, when xp came out every one thought you couldn't warez it because you had to call MS. Few days later people found a work around and just warezed the Corp version. Same thing is going to happen to longhorn.

Not totally in Vien, not everyone knows how to beat the system.
it screws the people who got thier cousin to burn them a copy, but all the real warezers (the ones microsoft should really be worrying about it) can easily get around it.

kinda stupid o_O.

It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.

I am now sick.

Hmm, when there are groups like those at Auto-patcher releasing all the MS updates in single downloads, is this really going to phase anyone? Seems like the legit peoplw will have to endure the hassle of authenticating, while the warezed copies just go download something like auto-patcher and laugh in Billy G's face.

I bought my copy of Win XP Pro. $140, but it's worth it to not have to deal with cracks and now this.

It is the only computer-related Microsoft product I've ever bought (other thing is my XBox).

Forgive me if I'm out of date, but aren't torrents a bad idea for warez because your ISP can check the names of all the files you've downloaded?

That and it's corrupting a method for legal distribution blah blah blah

I don't think ISPs monitor or track that kind of information...

But anybody can get your IP without needing any kind of legal document ordering its release. It's listed right in the list of sharers.

No, that information is stored on the tracker. What your ISP sees is just a binary stream of data. Which they could scan for illegal content, but that holds true for other P2P networks as well, and they don't really care anyway. The thing that pisses ISPs off about BT is the amount of traffic it generates.

I haven't downloaded, but I've already found many copies of it laying around on p2p apps. This thing already leaked out or is this just a 2gig virus waiting on me?

He means the 2gig longhorn is all virii yet somewhere a clean xp is floating around which does a good job.

FlamingTP is actually not referring to lol in the classical sense of the acronym "laughing out loud." Instead, he is trying to convey his anger (denoted by the use of the word "crap") by offering the crude image of a stick figure raising his arms in the air in protest of this henious action being committed by that shitdog of a farce of a company known as The Microsoft Coorporation aka "the vole." The stick figure unfortunately does not have a face and the arms are indeed simplified through the use of a lowercase "l" in verdana font, and actually this is quite typical for stick figures; however, it is readily apparent how the acronym and the stick figure could be confused. As my colleague and friend [xeno]Julios put so succinctly, "Natural forces do not discriminate based on human normative conceptions."
