OK. In car video recording, car cameras AKA Dash-cams, who's got one?

I am considering a purchase and just want some hints/tips/opinions and yes, I have been googling so, for your viewing pleasure I present

I have one to protect me against Prabjeet insurance scammers and Ramjeesh cab drivers.

I am reading online reviews but like to hear first hand so ask, any advice as to what to look for in these dash-cams?
Do you have dual cameras, front & back or the the GPS function and is there value in purchasing with those feature ?
