The developer has been involved in a three year legal dispute with broadcasting company Sky over the use of the word "Sky" in their game's name:
No Man's Sky developer Hello Games has revealed a three-year long lawsuit brought by broadcasting giant Sky.
The legal dispute, over the use of 'Sky' in the game's name, has only come to light now it has been concluded.
[...]
Hello Games has not divulged exactly how the lawsuit was settled, or how much money might have changed hands.
The lawsuit may seem frivolous - Sky is not in the habit of making games, and the likelihood of any brand confusion seems minimal.
But for the British indie studio, Murray has said, the legal battle was a genuine concern.
"This is the same folks who made Microsoft change Skydrive to Onedrive..." he added. "So it was pretty serious."
Fucking cunts over at Sky broadcasting

You shouldn't be able to trademark a word from the dictionary.

It's pretty stupid. Citigroup recently trademarked the word thankyou and then sued AT&T for sending thank you letters to their customers... Just fuck off already with that shit.

That's deplorable. I agree with Tsakali, no one should be able to trademark such a common word.

Yes, I think I am looking forward to release (I've never looked at Star Citizen).

Protip: take the "m." out of the URL so the page formats correctly. Almost nobody visits Q3W on mobile.

The formatting on this site is godawful on mobile, how do you stand it?

Yeah I often visit Q3W on mobile as well.
Having said that, IGN automatically redirects to the mobile version of the site if you're on mobile, so leaving out the m is a good idea

having a subdomain for mobile is dumb as fuck anyway.

that said, there actually have been some improvements for q3w mobile as of late. working towards an actual mobile layout (more or less). expect noticeable changes soon.

So I guess the game has been leaked and it isn't exactly living up to the hype. Shocker...
