At 78 I find it too hot to do anything. Couldn't imagine 100. A nice day for me is roughly 68 and I find it acceptable to ride my bike up to 44. Below that I'll find it a bit chilly until you reach freezing.
12 years ago I worked during summer as modelmaker at an architects office in southern Spain. Temperatures were regularly at 42°C/107F and above. With no AC in the workshop. After some days you just get used to it. Stop being pussies.
