missed that, tho it makes sense with them opening up the Live servers to all platforms and their crossbuy Play Anywhere dealio.Κracus wrote:Xbox one is getting mouse / keyboard support. Where are your gods now? #pcmasterrace

Can't not love that
it is about time!
Re: E3 2016
yeah, although I've played some cross platform FPS games on the 360 that pitted PC vs Console players I suspect they'll implement some kind of limitation for console players since mouse/keyboard would be so obviously OP in most FPS games and I'm sure others. It'll be nice for RTS games though.MKJ wrote:missed that, tho it makes sense with them opening up the Live servers to all platforms and their crossbuy Play Anywhere dealio.Κracus wrote:Xbox one is getting mouse / keyboard support. Re: E3 2016
MS stats the Scorpio is mostly for 4K rendering. If you don't have a 4K TV you should be getting a OneS or keep your One.Don Carlos wrote:Few reports of Scorpio being a $1000 console!
Because the Scorpio is not going to do anything for you. Scorpio is designed as a 4K console, and if you don't have a 4K TV, the benefit we've designed for, you're not going to see. Clearly, you can buy Scorpio, and if and when you decide you want to buy a 4K television to take advantage of the increased performance, obviously the console will be ready for you.
Re: E3 2016
Seeing as they release new and better resolutions every other year it seems kind of a waste of money.

I actually still play Trials evolution over Trials Fusion. Once Ubisoft took over the IP the game just isn't the same. I usually go play poker on friday nights but before the game we have this little ritual where we play some trials and more often than not, Trials fusion isn't on the menu even though I own both games. Ubisoft implemented a lot of stupid shit into the game like requiring an online connection to play downloaded tracks and other limitations that make playing it offline a chore and not fun. Evolution on the other hand works great offline.

I used to enjoy Jimquisition videos but the last few months he's made it a habit of making his (in my opinion often irrefutable) point within the first 3 minutes of the video and then he continues banging on about the same thing for 8 more minutes without bringing anything new to the table.
So yeah, I usually watch the first three mins and then turn it off.

Re: E3 2016
He seems to spend quite a bit of time trying to convince his detractors that he's right. But it's entertaining nonetheless.

This interview with Gerstmann and Spencer is fucking great (runs the first 30minutes or so).
They talk about the new Xbox and where they are trying to go with gaming and integration on Windows 10 as well as a whole bunch of other subjects.
Spencer really knows his shit.

Re: E3 2016
Yup, that's Ubisoft for ya.
And I keep saying this again, but it's just the truth that if Ubisoft had shown the retail versions of those games, no one would've said "oh, this looks bad". No, a game like The Division really looks impressive, but because there's (E3) footage out there that shows the game in a much better way, the comparison is made and the retail version is labelled as having poor graphics.

Those graphic on the compare are utter shit
Division actually looks better than that on the PS4. Not up to E3 standard, but better than that video.

Re: E3 2016
Those look like low PC settings. I get the point but it makes me wonder how credible the others are.
