Looks good but let's wait for the customary Ubisoft downgrade before we get too excited :alert:

GFY, any comments?

Poor GFY. Angry, fat and a failure.

I wonder if he's even still alive.

I'm doing great. My family is healthy, the wife and I have good jobs and I'm in the best shape of my life.

You going to be okay?

I don't know if my expectations could be any lower for a AAA game.

Maybe if they hadn't fucked up the first one. Who asked for a Watch Dogs 2, anyway?

I got it once it was in the discount bin. It was ok, not full price ok, but if you can get it for under 15$ it's worth it. I especially liked the online play, you basically went into someone elses world and had to "hack" them or whatever. It was basically a game of hide and seek where you pretend to be one of the many NPC's in the world while the player you're invading is frantically trying to find you. lots of lulz to be had but the game just lacks any sort of depth so it gets boring, like many ubisoft games.

They need a more persistent online world with hacking/robbing/escape activities that pit players against players without the obvious markers. The best part about watchdogs was the online game modes, it just seemed they didn't quite flesh them out. Another one of the modes I liked was tailing players, you had to follow a player for a certain amount of time without them noticing that you were following them. It's so amusing to watch what other people do in an otherwise single player game without the target knowing someone was watching. It's a sort of peeping tom type of feeling and pretending to be an NPC when an obviously maniacal player is headed your way was extremely amusing. And then there's the times when the player DOES notice you and you have to escape which is also great fun.

All this game really needed was to look the way it was advertised, slightly better vehicle physics and have the online mode more integrated with the game and it would have been a title I'd still play today.

I got The Division with a keyboard I just bought, haven't even installed it on account of how boring the beta was.

Also the main problem with the multiplayer in Watch Dogs was that it was a separate mode. They hyped all the fluidity of an interactive game world where players can drop in or out and hack others. What we got was a system that would put you in a queue for 30 minutes, disconnecting every 2 minutes until you finally found a match at which point the game would announce "XxbUttf@gxX IS FOLLOWING YOU" and then you could just hide in a glitchy spot until the timer runs out. Riveting.
