Our electronics retailer had a special sale on the weekend, buy on DVD and get the other free
so I picked up The Martian and Interstellar. I have seen both but had to have the blu-rays.

New personal best in the gym today. I got 225lbs for 10 reps in my final set on the decline bench.
1st set 10 reps at 135lbs, 2nd and 3rd set 10 reps at 185lbs and final set 10 reps at 225lbs. 300lbs 1RM is just around the corner.

Looks like someone is still upset about being a puss.
Re: What is new in your little world?
Just came back from hawaii maui for a week. Was nice, but honnestlt, you can get the same effect closer to home. Jamaica or the keys.
I prolly wouldn't choose to travel that far just to have access to a nice beach
I did get to see a shark swim right under me when I was snorkling. Sook me up a little cause I'm not used to anything like that. But in hindsight it was the most memorable part of the trip. He didn't seem particularly interested in me, he just casually kept swiming on.

Re: What is new in your little world?
Sweet. The volcanoes, water falls and rain forests had to be pretty cool though. Living in Florida a beautiful stretch of beach can easily be found. The volcanoes, water falls and rain forest were why we chose to go to Costa Rica.
Re: What is new in your little world?
Yeah they were nice, but that's what I meant Costa Rica is a much closer destination for the same level of tropical paradise

The volcanoes, water falls and rain forests are pretty cool. I think I'd go to Costa Rica to see the volcanoes, water falls and rain forests.
Re: What is new in your little world?
hawaii is nice took the kids to the big island a couple of times
one side is all desert lava rock with landscaped resorts built on top and the east side is rainforest and locals. we drove around the whole island its not big but it is the biggest hawaii island
prolly go back but maybe try a diff island as we were kinda played out on the big one

Re: What is new in your little world?
Yeah the different climates on maui were impressive. Felt like being in 3 different places.

Been putting off buying one of these bad boys for years, finally picked one up as they're £40 off the Enterprise version on their store atm. Arrives day after tomorrow. Cant wait!

Re: What is new in your little world?
Some colleagues in my company work with these. With an older version though. I still use a prehistoric 3-key-mouse without scroll wheel for 3D-design.

It's likely a controller that makes 3D design easier...

Re: What is new in your little world?
Yeah exactly, it's a 3D mouse. They take some getting used to, but they're really cool once your brain adjusts to them. No more hitting UI limits while rotating and panning!
chopov, I've been using my three button mouse for years, but the thing that's persuaded me to get this is the bloody lack of continuity between control methods in programs. Remembering which program uses right click to rotate, which uses alt left click, which uses middle click, which uses alt middle click and which is normal left click while quickly switching between applications is a headfuck. Hopefully this will ease that ... and also reduce RSI.
I've been putting getting one off mainly because there's no zBrush support, but I use so many other 3D apps now that I can justify it.

Haha, just noticed their sales team emailed me asking who I was and what I was using it for because I'm getting it delivered to Leavesden film studio.
Free stuff incoming?!
Time to whine about lack of zBrush support.

Re: What is new in your little world?
I am using only one 3D app all the time so I luckily haven't got to change control methods. Otherwise I'd most likely use one of these 3D-controllers too. ^^phantasmagoria wrote:chopov, I've been using my three button mouse for years, but the thing that's persuaded me to get this is the bloody lack of continuity between control methods in programs.
