Brussels Attack

Post by xer0s »

I've got a question about this. The metro station that was bombed is in a heavily Muslim section of Molenbeek. When these bombs go off, they're obviously killing other Muslims, some of which may share their views, some may not. Do the radical Muslims just consider killing other non-radical Muslims a necessary cost of this war? Or do they have a more, "fuck them, if they're not with us, they're against us" kind of attitude?

they went off at Zaventem airport, which is miles away from Molenbeek, and later one went off in Maelbeek, which sounds similar to Molenbeek if you're not paying sufficient attention, but isn't actually the same as Molenbeek

therefore the rest of your question/point is moot

Alright, my bad. I must have misheard the report.

Although, I think my question still stands, as they really never know what the religious feelings are of the person standing next to them they're about to blow up...

You're looking for logic in people who have no trouble bombing school buses.

I guess you're right. I'm just genuinely curious about their logic...

There's not much to be curious about, it's somewhere along the lines of: there are rules, they are sacred and they must be followed or you must die.

It's all quite banal.

Terrorists in these situations have a pretty good coping mechanism - If you're a terrorist / supporter you become a martyr otherwise you're an infidel and deserve to be locked in a cage then burned to death  .

Saudi Arabia = successful ISIS

in fact, the list of reasons for giving up fossil fuels goes like this:

#1: not destroying the planet
#2: fucking the Saudis in the ass, hard
#3: every other reason

I don't think it matters to them, its the act that they are looking for, the terror and death they cause is what they are after, if they can make people afraid and make governments take away freedoms from the people that's what I think they want

Leftest terrorism in Europe during the 60-80's was much worse than what is going on now... What's the story with everyone making a bigger deal about this lesser threat?... Racism? Tribalism? Moronics?...

I was thinking, would it be feasible for authorities to deny there was a terrorist attack and have "official" investigations point out it was a gas explosion or something? Then IS could no longer claim being responsible and their whole "platform" would be swept away from under them
