How'd the doctor appointment go?
Re: Time for a new project... Defeating cancer...
I'm in room now. He grabbed my nuts again to test for pain. He said the mass is in a spot where an infection would be but Im not having the expected pain if it was an infection. Blood test came up negative. He thinks I should remove it so the surgery is on Monday. I'm sure I just have a high threshold for pain and it's just an infection but oh well.... Might as well take it out just to be safe.. Extra nuts are for morons anyways...

Re: Time for a new project... Defeating cancer...

Re: Time for a new project... Defeating cancer...
If I lose a nut and it's not cancer I'll be more pissed than having cancer... It better be cancer!...
Re: Time for a new project... Defeating cancer...
If it's an infection can't they just like... load your ball up with antibiotics and see what it does by Monday ?, or someshit.

No they load u up on antibiotics and wait two months cuz that's how long it takes. But if it's cancer it's had two months to spread...losCHUNK wrote:If it's an infection can't they just like... load your ball up with antibiotics and see what it does by Monday ?, or someshit.
Re: Time for a new project... Defeating cancer...
Blood tests are only 50% accurate. Negative can still mean cancer but does mean less likely it has spread if so that's good.HM-PuFFNSTuFF wrote:seems legitscared? wrote: Blood test came up negative. He thinks I should remove it so the surgery is on Monday.

what is the point of a 50% accurate test? might as well flip a coin and go with that...scared? wrote: Blood tests are only 50% accurate. Negative can still mean cancer but does mean less likely it has spread if so that's good.
jesus you and your medical system are dumb
Re: Time for a new project... Defeating cancer...
I'm guessing it could be used more as confirmation, but yea, seems the treatment is the same either way :/
Good news though, I guess :/. What's the recovery like ?
