Just saying thanks firstly and that the usual search function isn't working, for me at least.
Please check/advise/repair.
Happy you delete this when done

Yeah, DooMer broke it.
He has known for the past two weeks. I doubt it will get fixed.

You can try to
use Google to search for stuff that's not too recent. I'm not sure how well this works though.

Put "site:www.quake3world.com" (without quotes) behind any Google search query and it'll limit search results to this site

Yeah I hadn't clicked your link assuming it simply pointed to Google. Thought the site thing would be helpful for Whiskey. Hadn't realized you included that in your link. Whiskey might not either though...

Yea, my bad.
Any idea how Google crawls forum posts by the way? Since technically they don't exist until a user requests the query.

Fuck all ya'll, the database was filled to the brim with words like dick, butt, and dickbutt so I purged it.
Maybe mkj will replace the search with a google based search but I doubt it.

Of course not, but I had to migrate the site to a new vps node, and those salty nono words were causing the db to be much larger than it should have been.

So you deleted it without warning. Got it.
Anyway, changed the searchengine to the sqlside, should work again now with little strain on the dbase.

I learned that truncate and forget works out in the end.
I also learned that industrial electrical tape is great for smegma removal, which isn't directly related, but the topic was open when I learned it.

My many thanks for the repair
The mind isn't failing yet but the search facility comes in mighty handy trying to prod brain cells to fire.
