Yeah that yellow stucco slab home he posted pictures of once. No sidewalk or curb out front. Power lines everywhere. I'm surprised they even paved the road.

So you have some sort of problem with the suburbs.
Re: News Of The Weird(01/31/16)
Suburbs have sidewalks, street lighting, curbs, biking paths, parks...etc. Neighborhoods without are zoned for trailer homes and poor people.

Shart thinks every house should have a concrete walk-up and street lights in the front yard.shaft wrote:Suburbs have sidewalks, street lighting, curbs, biking paths, parks...etc. Neighborhoods without are zoned for trailer homes and poor people.

As if this is so terrible.

Re: News Of The Weird(01/31/16)
tightly cropped out the surrounding trailers and utility lines...nice drainage ditch in your front yard. They have those when your suburb cant afford storm drains

Looks like a retirement home. Looks large though (unless you've cropped out the depth), next to house in the UK. I'd have to pay over a million for that size. Bet it's lonely for you.
Re: News Of The Weird(01/31/16)
but would you? it's ugly as fuck. buttermilk paint job, fake sash windows and a yard that looks like it was designed in minecraft
and i bet those plant beds are full of bark chips, completing the full pleb look

no fucking chance, not that pre-fab shit! I was talking about the space only, although it's nowhere near the size of out family farmhouse in Shropshire. no where near.

What color would you paint your house (if you could afford one)? Mine has been painted 3 different colors. Every one of which you angry nerds shit on. I beginning to think it's not the color and you're simply upset.seremtan wrote:but would you? it's ugly as fuck. buttermilk paint job, fake sash windows and a yard that looks like it was designed in minecraft

Oh, and the flower beds have lava rocks. But I'm sure there is something wrong with that too.

Re: News Of The Weird(01/31/16)
It's not a huge house (3,000 sqrft), but damn sure bigger than a "retirement home". And why would it be lonely? We've got great neighbors and my son has plenty of of neighborhood friends. Are you're still pretending that I'm not married?Doombrain wrote:Looks like a retirement home. Looks large though (unless you've cropped out the depth), next to house in the UK. What do you mean by pre-fab? This is a custom built, CBS home. It's also bigger than we need or currently want. As soon as my son graduates and moves out, we're getting a condo on the water with a boat slip.

Not very nice though, is it. Looks like something from Nuke Town.

What's not nice? You don't like the look? I'm sorry it's not a European style house with stone archways, multi-peaked roof lines and brick facades. But this isn't Europe. This is Florida, where homes have to be built with structural integrity as a key design requirement. High peaked roofs and spanning openings are big no nos when you're dealing with the high winds we get around here.

Re: News Of The Weird(01/31/16)
We don't need hurricanes for winds to get 50/60+ mph.
