On Windows 7 systems, Warner says Batman: Arkham Knight may constantly page data back to the disk, and users are advised they may need to restart the game to fix that behavior. On Windows 10 systems, WB now recommends a whopping 12GB of system memory
Because its clickbait. They imply the game is still a mess in the title but then only state ONE bug from WINDOWS 7 then pad the rest of the article with drivel about steam reviews 99% of which are from the original game release.
Run some benchmarks or confirm some of the stuff 8yo Jimmy posted in his super legit steam review. The article is shit.
I agree that of the of articles I've seen on the topic, most do use melodramatic titles. So fuck all the articles. I'm more inclined to trust the Steam reviews because of their sheer volume, anyway. If you sort by date, there are a ton of recent reviews and a lot of red thumbs down. Many are 0.4 hours played, but many are 20-40+ hours, too. Most of the negative reviews I skimmed seem to be coming from people having problems running the game smoothly. I don't trust any of the reviews on their own, but there's enough nuance from one review to the next to convince me there isn't an ouroboros of gaming articles influencing Steam reviews influencing gaming articles....
