so yea my kids are all minecraft minecraft minecraft.
they offline play sitting beside eachother on laptops on seperate worlds.
they want to play on the same world together.

minecraft and network masters
minecraft and network masters
it is about time!
Re: minecraft and network masters
youre saying your laptops dont have wifi?
Re: minecraft and network masters
I think if you just download the server package you can just host one on one of the machines and have the others join via IP. You're all the same network so it should be fairly simple to connect.
Re: minecraft and network masters
thanks guys
i have the comps connected now i guess?
they were playing on the same account on two comps so i am going to buy another now.
then i'll install the server on lappy and get back to you guys!
i am doing several things at once atm so it wont be immediately

Re: minecraft and network masters
Yeah you need two separate accounts. Back in the day you had to setup a server to host. Though with the iOS version you can just join each others games peer to peer. I wonder if they implemented that on the PC version yet.
Re: minecraft and network masters
you can open your SP world to others on the same network
Re: minecraft and network masters
from inside minecraft. i think there's a button available once the world is loaded
