The vehicle missions are incredibly lame. The combat has no feel to it, you wouldn't know you took damage unless you looked at your shield. that's the problem with a shooter with rpg elements where the enemies do different damage based on their lvl. You have no feedback on the damage you give or take.

Plus it's all outdoors. Enemies spawn from little black doorways you can never go in. Just didn't enjoy inhabiting the world. I played it for the story only.

Thus why the "tales from the borderlands" series is actually so much better for the universe than the actual borderlands games.

I agree, didn't like borderlands at all. It's even more disappointing to me because initially the game looked so promising. You start playing this cool class and there's this neat story and then that's it. The rest of the game just falls flat on its face.

The millions of weapons are overused and repetitive. The boss fights are just HP sponges which suck ass and then the story kinda becomes this linear point to point crapshoot but that's not the worst part.

The worst part is trying to play online. Every goddamned person playing online was a cheating prick. How is it fun to run around with unlimited shields and 1 shot kill guns? It sucked balls and culminated in me getting to the last boss, trying to find some online people to fight it with and ASKING if they were cheating in advance cause I wasn't into it and then having the boss killed in one shot. Completely ruined the game for me and I swore off the series.

Any developer that doesn't care enough about its game to fight cheaters in the online portion of their game doesn't deserve my money. Even if it's under 1$.
